Barbara has been a Registered Nurse working with the fields of Pediatics, Obstetrics and Neonatal Intensive Care since 1990. She entered the Pharmaceutical/Biotech field in 2002 and has held positions at a number of major companies.
Refusing to let obstacles stand in her way, she worked hard and quickly moved up the ranks from quality auditor to head of two departments.
Her personal life has been no less challenging, after ending a troubled marriage and successfully raising three sons on her own, each of which have excelled in their education and personal lives.
Barbara also follows a pagan-based spirituality, and teaches classes at Ostara* a store "full of olde world magick" located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Along with others, she promotes education, community and a voice for pagan-based religious beliefs.
In addition, she continues to travel and speak in the areas of QC Compliance and Training at various corporate conferences. |

Diane Simovich-Scherrer established BW NICE in April of 2009 in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. Patterned after a successful program she developed, launched and nurtured in California, Diane had a desire to connect with like-minded business women in the community after moving across country with her son, Nicholas, and elderly mother five years ago in order to be closer to family.
BW NICE encompasses three key elements: networking, education and charity. It is an organization that helps women attain their business goals while providing outreach and support for those in crisis or transition. BW NICE mixes professional success with personal fulfillment. In two short years of existence, BW NICE has organically grown the number of active attendees from 10 to over 50 and recently obtained not-for-profit corporate status.
BW NICE is currently working on the launch of their first annual charity event, “Celebration of Women in Business” fion show and luncheon to be held in June, 2012, with proceeds going to SAFE in Hunterdon, their partner in charity.
